    UNIT 2 - BASIC AWARENESS OF AI

      In this unit, you’ll develop a foundational understanding of AI by exploring what AI is, how large language models work, and where generative AI fits within the wider AI landscape. You’ll examine AI’s strengths, limitations, and ethical challenges, learn how to interact effectively with AI through prompting, and reflect on the importance of human judgement, responsibility, privacy, inclusion, and sustainability when using AI in education.

      UNIT 3.1 - TEACHING WITH AI

        This unit explores how teachers can integrate AI into their practice. You’ll learn if AI has changed teacher's roles and how traditional materials can be rethought. Through practical examples, you’ll apply bAIckward design to redesign your educational practices and lesson materials for an AI-driven classroom. By the end, you’ll understand not only how to use AI, but how to adapt your teaching for the future.

        UNIT 3.2 - GUIDING STUDENTS HOW TO LEARN WITH AI

          This unit focuses on how you, as a teacher, can guide students in their interactions with AI. You’ll explore the opportunities AI offers for learning, as well as the pitfalls that can hinder progress. You’ll learn how to guide students in using AI responsibly and effectively, while fostering critical thinking, digital ethics, and AI literacy so they understand its impact on their learning.

          UNIT 4 - ETHICAL AND LEGAL USE OF AI

            This unit explores the legal and ethical dimensions of AI in education. You’ll learn why critical thinking and lateral reading are essential when working with AI. We’ll provide an overview of existing legal frameworks and guidelines every educator should know.             UNIT 5 - OUTBOARDING AND SELF-EVALUATION

              In this unit, you’ll develop a future-oriented mindset by exploring the principles of speculative design: an approach that helps imagine and prepare for possible futures in education. You’ll learn how to apply these principles to rethink teaching and learning in an AI-driven world.
