REPORT ON THE FORECAST OF FUTURE NEEDS IN AI EDUCATION
This report explores the landscape of AI education with a particular focus on teacher training. It is framed within the context of the Paideia Project 1 and draws upon a review of academic literature, policy documents, and institutional reports from both European and international sources. The report is guided by established frameworks such as DigCompEdu and UNESCO’s AI Competency Framework. The aim is to identify emerging competencies, curricular gaps, and strategic priorities that can inform the integration of AI into teacher education and seeks to contribute to a shared European vision for AI literacy, ethical awareness, and pedagogical innovation in teacher preparation.
